EACH of those guys is amazing at their instruments. its just tough to remember that the first two bands were pretty good when AMT were just so incredible. their last song was close enough to sabbath, real drony over a super-heavy riff. If only the third one had been master of reality, it would have actually been the best concert of all time. (something else i know but couldnt place) Man, the between-song music last night was great, too. No encore as such from AMT - just two goddamn hours of noise and wackiness. Subarachnoid miss Mason Jones a bit, I think. Three tracks, the first is a touch slower than what they played yesterday but still great - however, they are DEFINITELY a live band, they've got that sheer room-filling explosive feeling down.
